For better functioning of the auto air conditioner it’s important that the Air Conditioner Parts are been maintained properly and checked in the regular intervals. Now the second step is that we need to check if the refrigerant is leaking. The common refrigerant that is been used these days is R-134a. One thing we must understand here is small leakage is ok, but if all R-134a leaks out, this means that there is nothing in the machine that will remove the heat from the air flowing in the air conditioner engine. This needs to be fixed immediately and will need ac machine to be opened. There is one more way to check the leaks, which can be done by putting fluorescent dye most widely available in the auto shops.
Now the next check that can be done is to check that the compressor is turning. This can do by switching on the ac and then checking under the hood, if the compressor pulley is not rotating then the compressor is not doing its job. We can also check for other Air Conditioner Parts whether they are working fine or not, like we can check for bad fuses, bad switches, broken fan belt which prevents the turning of the pump, broken wires, or seal failure inside the compressor.
